There are just a few days left to 2009 and what a wonderful year it  has been for Midsummer’s Music Festival. We presented 21 concerts at 16 different venues throughout Door County last June and July. There were four more concerts at four venues over the Labor Day weekend. Not to mention our off-season concerts: The Pro Arte Quartet, A Renaissance Christmas, and Haydn’s “The Seven Last Words of Christ.” At each of these concerts we had the opportunity to visit with our long-term supporters and meet many people new to Midsummer’s Music. It is because of our supporters that we continue to present outstanding classical/chamber music.

We are preparing our upcoming 20th season and will be announcing the dates, venues, and programs within a few weeks. In the meantime, don’t let 2009 slip away without making a donation to Midsummer’s annual fund. No matter what the amount, your gift is very welcome and will help us present the “best of the best” this summer. There are several ways you can make a donation:

          *     As long as your gift is postmarked by December 31, you can mail your donation to Midsummer’s Music Festival, PO Box 1004, Sister Bay, WI 54234.

          *     This website features a “Make a Donation” link at the top of the page. It’s secure, easy, and quick. Again, your donation must be made before midnight on December 31.

          *     You can call our office at 920-854-7088 during the hours of 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and we’ll be happy to take your information.

You can also make donations through appreciated securities. Some people have designated Midsummer’s Music Ltd. as a beneficiary in their will.

Won’t you help us make a joyful noise with your gift?

Thank you!
