Living in Door County today is like living in a snow globe. Light, fluffy snowflakes are falling, covering everything in sight. It’s absolutely beautiful and assures us that we will have a white Christmas through the county.

This is a wonderful time to visit Door County. In the Village of Sister Bay, where the Midsummer’s Music Festival’s office is located, each shop is outlined with holiday lights. Small Christmas trees adorn their storefronts, making Sister Bay look like a Dickens’ village. Al Johnsons,  the world famous Swedish restaurant, has replaced the live goats on their roof with reindeer outlined in white lights.  It’s quite beautiful.

With Christmas just a few days away the delicate snow adds to the spirit of the holiday. In a way, the falling snow is making a joyful noise!
